T.C.'s career in music began with playing around on the family's Howard upright piano as a child. After taking a few years of lessons, he began composing instrumental pieces and playing for family and friends whenever the opportunity arose. Just for fun, he also began picking up the guitar and learning a few basic chords.

In college, T.C.'s love for the acoustic guitar began to grow. And it wasn't long before he was accompanying his church choir, only to become the Director of Music at his church a few years later. Since then, T.C. has been performing at conferences, retreats, coffeehouses, weddings, funerals and private parties. His acoustic style has been compared to such artists as James Taylor and Chris Rice (he's even been mistaken for Chris Rice!).
